The Weirdest Workout Ever !!!!

Today some of my friends and I decided we wanted to go to a Haunted House, but we didn't want to go just the three of us so we called some other people and got a pretty BIG group of about 16 people!!! Now here's the thing EVERYBODY was freaked out except me ( big disappointment I wanted to be scared.... but it was still fun).We did the natural thing of holding hands and creating a train as we ran as fast as we could which was pretty darn fast if you ask me! Afterwards we went to this GIANT hill and raced to the top and back down and we did that a couple of times (my legs were feeling the burn). Then we had a bbq and hung out for a while.

That was just a random day but it was tons of fun thats one of the best things about October!!!

So my workout was
Running/ducking/weaving: 45 minutes
Hill Racing : 20 minutes
Speed walking : 25 minutes
Dancing ( hey it counts): 60 Minutes

Now my legs are super sore ..... So.Worth.It

Running ...

It is kind of like a love-hate relationship; some days are great and you experience that "runners high" other days you feel like your legs and/or lungs are going to fall off.We have all been there and its okay to admit that you don't love running 24/7 ... it really is okay to admit that some running days just really suck.

People who are just starting to really care about running (me!!!) know that when you first start it is probably going to suck, but it gets better! It takes a full 6 weeks  for your body to fully get used to something . So don't be upset if your not as fast as you thought you would be or can run forever!

Believe me when I say IT IS OKAY !!! Just start slow you don't want to get an injury..... that would really suck.

Now lets talk about food ! Thats right I LOVE FOOD !!!!
So today for breakfast I had a Carnation Instant Breakfast and a GIANT spoonful of PEANUT BUTTER !!!! So sorry my breakfast wasn't anything exciting I was running late so I just grabbed it and ran out the door . For lunch I had Broccoli soup because it is snowing here :(. And for dinner I had Navaho Fry Bread ( best thing ever!!!!) with Cheesy Chili . For dessert it was a doughnut type thing ... it was sooo good !!!!

Today was a rest day or I would have shared my workout with you.

Hey There !

Hey There !
I don't know why  the first post is always the most weird  awkward . I guess thats natural ... sort of . So lets just get this post over with. Hello my name is Dezi and I am starting to run, not to lose weight or anything but to get in shape. And to prove I can do anything I set my mind to. And I was also inspired by the hungryrunnergirl she is sooo awesome. She is also having a giveaway so go and enter !

I started this blog so you guys could come on my journey with me. My story is a bit different then the average runners. I will go more into detail later.

Just remember running is not just something we do its a lifestyle !
